I couldn’t resist it, I just had to have a Sausage Sandwich for my lunch today.
Ok, it wasn’t a cheat LOL, did I fool you. It was Asda Turkey Sausages with Dukan Microwave Bread. It was so so yummy, defiantely comfort food and reminiscent of past days. I’ve tried looking online for a link to this bread, but can I heck as like find it so this is the recipe:
Dukan Microwave Bread
- 2tbs Oatbran
- 1tbs Wheatbran
- 1 Egg
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tbs Quark
Mix everything together until its a runny consistancy. (You could add herbs at this point if you’d like)
Poor into a small rectangle tub. (I used one of those plastic chinese takeaway tubs lined with a piece of greaseproof paper)
Cook in Microwave at 600w for 3 mins.
Tip out onto a cooling rack and remove paper straight away, being careful not to pull bits off the side…only happened once to me.
It rises about 2cms high. I cut it in half to get two squares and then slice through it for two slices.
The whole thing will give you a full days allowances of bran, I split it into two days so i can still have my porridge LOL.
Today was my official weigh day for the week, I lost 3.75lb this week. Which is now a total of 1st 2.25lb since 18th June.
